Festival of Goodness

Come out for a day of good food and good music to help raise money for a good cause! All proceeds support Breadcoin & DC Dream Center.

About this event

Hungry Harvest's Festival of Goodness is all about coming together to celebrate the best in art, music, food and giving back. In this first installment of the fest, we'll be featuring live music from Juan Wauters (NYC), Frass Green (DC) and Proper Nouns (Baltimore) alongside delicious eats and drinks from local food trucks and breweries.

Jump inside Culture House and you'll find on-site screen printers from Soul & Ink knocking out sweet free tees, chef demos from local chefs, loads of planting and craft stations, and activities for kids (and their adults).

Outside in the courtyard we'll have blender bike races, where you and your rival can knock out smoothies from rescued produce, participate in our interactive art wall, play games and shop the Hungry Harvest produce market.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to local hunger-solving organizations Breadcoin and DC Dream Center. Breadcoin is a currency provided to people who are hungry or food-insecure, whether chronically or situationally. Those people take the coins to participating vendors and use them just like cash, without stigma. DC Dream Center will be distributing the Breadcoins to the local community.

COVID PROTOCOL:

We are committed to providing the safest possible experience for everyone at Festival of Goodness, so we're asking all attendees to provide proof of at least one Covid vaccination shot (an original card or photo on phone will suffice) OR a negative Covid test result within 72 hours of entry (time stamped, original preferred)

Masks will also need to be worn inside at all times (when not having a drink.)

This Halloween, we’re BACK and excited to announce a new take on our brunch experiences with our inaugural “Brunch by the Park” day party at The Bullpen featuring White Ford Bronco!

"Brunch by the Park" is a 5-hour outdoor brunch-ish festival that showcases the talents of some of our favorite local and national food + booze brands for you to taste and sip while jamming to live music performances all day long.

We’ll be bringing you all the Halloween day party vibes while you explore the flavors and sounds of the city . Our food + beverage lineup includes

EATS: Southblock, District Doughnut, Swizzler, Surfside, La Tejana, Glizzys, La Casita Pupuseria, and more to be announced!

DRINKS: Topo Chico Hard Seltzer, Vizzy, Liquid Death, Superbird, Coors Pure, Charleston Mix, El Silencio Mezcal and more to be announced!

MUSIC: We’ll have live performances by White Ford Bronco, DJs, and our resident SaxMan!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Each food vendor will provide unlimited food and drink samplings of one featured item.

Unlimited food and drink samplings are for the first 2 hours of the event only (from 1 - 3 pm). After the first 2 hours, attendees will be able to purchase food and drink items from the bar and individual vendors (VIP open bar runs from 1 - 5 pm).

You must be 21 years or older to participate. Please drink responsibly.

Valid ID required at the door.

Tickets are non-refundable.

**Important note about COVID-19 and the safety of guests**

According to the DC Mayor’s guidance, attendees of the event should plan to follow the most up-to-date CDC and District of Columbia guidance. The CDC guidance advises that fully vaccinated people can stop distancing and wearing masks in most places outdoors. Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated individuals should continue to wear masks in public settings and around those who live outside of their households. Those who are not fully vaccinated should continue to wear masks when they’re around others outside their immediate household, according to CDC guidance.
